Found in the Dead Sea Scrolls and in a translation among an Ethiopian Jewish community, The Book of Enoch (1 Enoch) has claimed the interest of many in modern times. It seems to have been quoted by the book of Jude in the Bible, yet was not considered inspired by the Jews or Christians in general. In this lesson, we take a look at why we can be sure that the book is not inspired by God and was rightfully left out of the canon of Scripture.
